Great Gonerby War Memorial was unveiled on the 18th December 1919. The memorial stands within the churchyard of the Church of St Sebastian’s and is located in the South west corner of the churchyard, facing the road.

It is an ornate Latin cross made of Clipsham Stone and is placed on a tapering octagonal shaft sat on a pedestal and a two stepped base. It commemorates the local people who gave their lives in World War 1 and World War II.
